Inspiration
The problem: Campus lost-and-found systems make items hard to locate, while publicly revealing identifying details can help someone falsely claim them.
What it does
The solution: A Gemini-powered agent that matches a student’s description to found items, asks for distinguishing details without revealing the answers, and prepares a claim for staff review.
Example: You describe missing black headphones. The agent finds a possible match and asks about identifying marks. You mention the blue sticker inside the earcup—matching the staff’s private record.
One-hour prototype:
Eight fictional found items with public descriptions and private identifying details. A chat interface where the agent searches items, asks follow-up questions, and creates a claim. A staff review panel showing the student’s answers and supporting evidence.
