Inspiration

Disney+'s The Mandalorian has taken the internet by storm. Alongside, Baby Yoda has garnered his claim to meme fame. With all the adorable Baby Yoda meme's, I have been inspired to turn myself into Baby Yoda.

What it does

Places a Baby Yoda mask on a recognized facial structure on Instagram through their filters feature.

How I built it

• Watched a bunch of YouTube tutorials.
• Tinkered with Photoshop and Blender
• Uploaded the Baby Yoda image asset that I created onto Spark AR
• Uploaded the Spark AR filter that I created

Challenges I ran into

• Making the mask go beyond the facial borders
• Making the 3D object (Baby Yoda's head)
• Aligning the 3D object (Baby Yoda's head) with my head

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

• Finished the project within the time span of the hackathon
• Learning new tricks in Blender
• Learning about Spark AR and its functionalities
