Inspiration

We were inspired by the Rice Purity Test and decided to create something similar that related to the struggles students face during COVID.

What it does

Users are prompted to answer 50 Yes/No questions about experiences they have taken part of during online school. We added a comedic spin to the test so that you get a higher score for doing what you are generally not supposed to do. After answering all the questions, you receive 1 point for each question you answered yes to.

How we built it

We used VS Code to write a simple program in HTML, integrating JS and CSS to develop some more complex functionality for the website and making the aesthetic more pleasing. We also used Photoshop to create our own graphic design components.

Challenges we ran into

We had trouble learning these new languages and using them to implement our ideas, but with some internet tutorials and help we were able to piece together different components to achieve our vision.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to embellish our product while also retaining full functionality.

What we learned

We learned basic website development through HTML, CSS, and JS. We also explored the different aspects of the Rice community and the United States population that bring individuals together, and ways we can promote togetherness.

What's next for Baby Sharks' Zoom University Exam

Maybe in the future we can add 50 more questions to make it to 100.
