The problem

A new baby needs feeding, sleep and clean diapers, day and night. Tired parents lose track and can't tell why the baby is crying.

Most baby apps are a digital piece of paper: slow, complicated, a second job for busy parents. What parents need, like live sync between parents, widgets, insights and educational content, sits behind a paywall. The free apps don't have it.

What is unique

1. The Forecast: know before the crying starts

The app learns your baby's rhythm and shows it as a weather report. Sunny means all good. Clouds and rain mean hungry, tired or a diaper soon. You act before the tears, not after.

2. NFC tags: log without opening the app

Stick a tag by the changing table or the bottle station. Hold your phone near it and the feed or diaper is logged. Fast and touchless.

3. A free home-screen widget that works like the app

Start and stop a feed, nap or pump, log a diaper, set the times, all from the home screen. Most apps charge for widgets and for live sharing between parents.

Who we are

Our son was born this January, right after our wedding. We were tired and clueless about why he cried, and other parents felt the same. We need a license to drive a car, but with a baby everyone says "you'll figure it out". Most need help.

So we built it together. I build apps used by more than 100,000 people. My wife is an early-years teacher (pedagogue) and this is her first app. The feeds and months sections and the birthday planner were her ideas, and she added the teeth tracker because we needed it.

When she starts a feed, I see it, and so can grandparents or a nanny. At handover, we know what comes next. We are the first users of our own app, and it grows as our baby grows.

Everything else

  • One-tap logging. Forgot the timer? + fills in the times.
  • Expert tips at the right moment, written with an early-years teacher, for your baby's age.
  • Baby Vision shows how your baby sees. Sound Check tells you if it's too loud.
  • Month-by-month guides, teeth tracker, first foods with allergy tracking, birthday planner, several babies.

Why it matters (Peace Prize)

No child should get less because of a paywall. Everything is free: no ads, no locked features. We want to stop one tear at a time. A happy world starts with a happy baby.

How we use RevenueCat

Support us: an optional one-time purchase. Nothing is locked. It keeps the app free for everyone, and every dollar goes back into the app.

How we built it

With love: for each other, for our newborn son, and with empathy for every parent in our situation. The tech: React Native + Expo, Firebase live sync, RevenueCat, native Kotlin and Swift widgets, on-device Forecast.

What's next

  • A safe community where parents help parents.
  • Top-quality educational content by professionals.
  • Live Q&A with experts for parents.
  • Playful games that support development at each age.
  • Voice logging (Alexa, Google, Siri) and smarter on-device AI.

All free.

Progress

Live on Google Play since Sep 19, 2026: 52 new users and 58 active users in the last 28 days (RevenueCat), no ad spend. Version 1.1 (everything free, new widget) is live. iOS is in review.
