Without doing proper homework regarding any business, we can't even strive for success. We must have a clear understanding of your competitors who have been ruling the industry for a long. time Knowing their strengths and weaknesses, we can find out the pinhole to approach our customer more effectively. Bring some unique flavor between our idea and the competitor's offer. To run a successful eCommerce business we need to establish a brand that relates to our personal. Understanding our personal will make creating an eCommerce brand easier. We might avoid girlie color and images if you're planning to target businesswomen to sell your products online
What it does
It has various pages just like replica of amazon site where we can select product by applying various filters like size, cost etc. and then it can be added to cart. Payment can be done in both INR and US Dollar. User can register/login and signup also. We can easily purchase and order things online in this pandemic also.
How we built it
First Front end was made using basic HTML , CSS technologies. Then various pages were interlinked like home page, about page, shopping page, add to cart page, checkout page , compare page, wishlist page. Then for backend connection dataset in Mongo.Db database. For fetching data I use react.js and server used was Nodejs and Express.js. After that project was deployed on Netlify site.
Challenges we ran into
There are many challenges I faced like connection of backend like sometimes products were not fetched and sometimes PhPmyadmin databases were filled with data with not proper format so to overcome these I used Mongodb database that helps in smooth fetching and filtering of data.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have successfully made and deployed an end-to-end e-commerce "ACOLIFE" website.
What we learned
Various technical challenges faced and to overcome this facility we have various technologies like MERN Stack , Javascript , Mongodb databases.
What's next for B2B E-Commerce Shopping Website
Integrating payment gateways and methods like CARDS, UPI, Wallets and taking it to next level so that it can be deployed in playstore and available for users.
