Inspiration

We got an inspiration to develop a social media in web3 environment where the whole network is decentralized as we all had an expearience in feeling that social medias sometimes know about us even more than we do.

What it does

It is a decentralized social media platform, which you can imagine the funcationality as similar to instagram but with an extra feature of being able to sell the published contents as NFTs. And also with users having a full control of their own data.

How we built it

We made use of public documentation from Solana Labs and Metaplex using an ubuntu virtual machine on windows 10, using various language in the ecosystem

Challenges we ran into

Anchor was having issues installing and we haven't be able to build a stable version on it yet, rust was not a very easy language to understand at the beginning

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Nft minting done through metaplex and creation of the SPL token through solana cli tools, all on the devnet. Basic deployment done of rust code in local rpc
