TAKE ME TO MY MOM

Inspiration

India being one of the developing country with its massive population, and many achievements in terms of production, literacy, in medical field and in industrial revolution, also being vulnerable to many crimes. Child Trafficking, is being one of the eminent activity which can be observed and experienced around us. It is observed that 11 children on an average goes missing without a note per day as on 2021. In terms of percentage, kidnapping and abduction accounted for 45% of the crimes and worrisome. On total in India, it is estimated that 96,000 children go missing each year. The child kidnapping is usually seen in areas which is mostly overcrowded. The time taken to find a lost child is sometimes takes up to several months, several years, which puts the victims(parents and the child ) into a position that affects their health and mind brutally. The kidnapped children ends up as forced child labours, domestic slavery and sex work destroying their as well as the country’s bright future.

What it does

This project aims at rescuing the children kidnapped, by creating the awareness regarding it to the people in the nearby surrounding via SMS to them in their mobile phone and by displaying it in the traffic LED displays with the picture of the child and the contact details. This would help the parents to find their lost child so easily than spending more months in finding the child. This app works by answering very questionnaire regarding the location where the child and which has been missing. After answering these questionnaire the app will automatically detect people in nearby locations using the GPS tracking and will send group messages to them regarding the issue.

How we built it

There is an website which actually as many number of registration details of the children who went missing and been there for years. The way of rescuing the child still is in the hand of governments cops official. Now a days, we find many messages keeps on forwarding in WhatsApp and other messenger apps after many hours. The child went missing can be abducted to any other city in the due time and it would become difficult to find the children but our app will send group message to people in the same location with the details about the children and the contact details and also will display the lost child photograph and details in the LED traffic display to let people in the locality to find the children within hours.
