This project is about the wonder plant, Azadirachta indica which has been found to have antiviral activity and hence may be used as an alternate therapy in the management of COVID-19 disease

Comment

Inspired by its use in India as a wonder drug and and other West African countries like Ghana and Nigeria and has been confirmed scientifically to have antiviral activity

A new compound found in the plant is found to be responsible.

What's next for Azadirachtha indica: The wonder plant

Further scientific research can be carried out to ascertain it's toxicity profile and therapeutic index before administration to patients.
