Witnessing the struggles of patients in rural and semi-urban areas—where specialized Ayurvedic care is often unavailable—ignited the idea of building a platform that connects patients directly with trusted Ayurvedic doctors and hospitals. The inspiration was to revive Ayurveda not just as a healing system but as a practical, reachable, and affordable telemedicine service for all.

What it does

The Ayurveda Telemedicine Service – Doctor & Hospital Finder helps patients find reliable Ayurvedic physicians, book consultations, and even locate hospitals or wellness centers near them. It provides:

Verified doctor and hospital listings.

Online consultation and follow-up.

Integration of modern telemedicine tools with Ayurvedic treatment plans.

Accessibility for patients who otherwise travel long distances for care.

How we built it

The foundation was built step by step:

Research: Studied how patients seek Ayurveda services and identified major gaps in access.

Networking: Connected with certified Ayurvedic doctors and reputed hospitals willing to be part of the platform.

Technology: Designed a digital platform with features like doctor search, appointment booking, and consultation interface.

Integration: Combined the essence of classical Ayurveda with modern tools such as teleconsultation, patient data management, and lab report analysis.

Challenges we ran into

Skepticism: Convincing both patients and practitioners to trust an online Ayurveda model.

Data standardization: Ensuring authentic and verified details of doctors and hospitals.

Technical hurdles: Building a user-friendly interface for both patients and practitioners.

Regulatory concerns: Aligning the service with NCISM and AYUSH guidelines for Ayurveda practice.
