Inspiration

I was inspired by games like Anki and Gizmo, but I found many flaws in both of the apps, so I started the journey of developing something that has the best features from each of the mentioned apps.

What it does

It's a card game that turns your notes into a fun way to enjoy learning. You can integrate your Notion pages to get some cards from them.

How we built it

I started with using Bolt only to build the main project, then I moved to using Cursor with Claude to finish the project.

Challenges we ran into

Connecting Notion was challenging at the beginning. The UX is quite challenging to get the best UI/UX for the users to feel comfortable while using the app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to connect to Notion and integrate my notes pages from it, then I was able to generate the cards from these pages, which was something I was so happy for.

What we learned

I learned that even the simplest ideas can take time and effort to accomplish. Connecting the servers was something I've never done before, and I am happy to have learned how to do that

What's next for AyCards

AyCards will continue development even after the end of the Hackathon to be a production app
