Inspiration
The challenge was designing a landing page for a non-profit organization. WWF is known worldwide as a famous organization concerning environment and wildlife preservation. I realy admire their work. That's why I chose to build them a page.
What it does
It's a simple single page application that shows some information about species and places WWF protects.
How I built it
I build this with HTML5, Javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap and CSS3. I downloaded a video from YouTube, some pictures from Google and infos from WWF official website (http://www.worldwildlife.org/). With the project ready, I uploaded it to my Instance at Amazon Web Services so you can access it from http://ec2-54-86-85-188.compute-1.amazonaws.com/WWF/
Challenges I ran into
I had some problems to make the slides responsives on page "Species", so I had to do some researches on Google.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I think design and UI/UX is awesome!
What I learned
I learned more about WWF projects and actions and I'm thinking of adopting an animal ;)
