AI applications often use the same model for every task, regardless of complexity, privacy requirements, or cost. We created Axiom AI Control Plane to explore a smarter approach to AI workload management that combines intelligent routing with human oversight.

What It Does

Axiom AI Control Plane analyzes incoming workloads and recommends appropriate AI execution routes.

Key features include:

How We Built It

We developed Axiom using React, TypeScript, and Vite for the interactive dashboard. We implemented workload classification, complexity analysis, privacy assessment, routing logic, and telemetry.

We also built a Vercel serverless API to integrate NVIDIA Nemotron through Nebius Token Factory. Direct live inference was successfully tested, while end-to-end inference from the dashboard remains under development.

Challenges We Faced

Our biggest challenges involved API authentication, configuring serverless functions, managing development environments, and securely integrating AI inference without exposing credentials.

Accomplishments We're Proud Of

We built and deployed an AI workload management dashboard, implemented human approval controls, published the source code on GitHub, and successfully demonstrated direct NVIDIA Nemotron inference through Nebius.

What We Learned

We gained practical experience with AI orchestration, model routing, privacy-aware workflows, secure API integration, and human-in-the-loop design.

What's Next

We plan to complete end-to-end dashboard inference, expand model support, improve routing intelligence, and introduce advanced performance and cost optimization.
