Inspiration

The need for modernizing healthcare and hospital data management, as well as the scalability and reliability offered by AWS.

What it does

A web portal for hospitals to upload patient information, monitor vital signs, and log patient health records.

How I built it

Created an EC2 instance using Amazon Machine Image (AMI) Updated instance to latest patch level Installed and configured Apache (httpd) Linked to Wordpress site

What's next for AWSHealthTracker

• Develop archive modules for old patient data with AWS Glacier
• Alert system for patients and doctors using AWS's Simple Notification Services (SNS)
• Elastic MapReduce modules for aggregate data analysis (for research purposes)
• Use DynamoDB and lambda functions to update patient records
