Project Overview - LauzHack 2023 AWS Challenge

Inspiration:

The project proposal was done by the Amazon Web Services team as a challenge at LauzHack 2023. Our goal was to process a substantial dataset of phone reviews and extract valuable insights to provide constructive feedback to the providers through an interface.

Learnings:

Throughout this experience, the team learned natural language processing and machine learning. We gained a deeper understanding of embedding techniques, clustering methodologies, and the application of these technologies to real-world data.

Building the Project:

Our approach involved creating a dynamic website that takes in a phone model name and outputs reviews clustered by common themes.

Challenges Faced:

While building the project, we encountered challenges related to the scale of the dataset and the need for robust processing.
