Inspiration

AWS is brand name in IT space. The buzz around AWS has been positive and always speaks of innovation and collaboration. My first interaction with AWS happened with the joint reference architecture for SAP presented by Mulyadi, Ferry. I immediately realised this as a golden opportunity to explore AWS.

As a consultant working on client projects, we are limited to the topics and spaces on which we can work real time. Thoerical learning and reading only fulfills the mental urges but the concepts are always in our fleeting memory.

Post the session on JRA for SAP in collab with AWS, I started interacting with AWS colleagues on LinkedIn and other platforms. I explore the AWS Partner login to explore online courses on AWS. Since then, AWS has been part of my learning journey.

SAP Modernization Hackathon at AWS last year was a great opportunity to just absorb the atmosphere at AWS. The energy and culture inside AWS was palpable and instantly felt an open and learning environment. In the event, I had the privilege to work on a use case along with Sony team. The interactions with AWS colleagues was truly a learning experience.

I have been studying on Azure and AWS as part of my learning journey. On a neural observation, AWS is definitely a developer-friendly space. the speed with which every new technology is accommodated is mid-blowing. The agility that AWS exhibits despite being a large multi-corp, is a lesson to all.

Every opportunity I get to work on AWS, I grab it with both hands.

the community day event is one of them and I hope that this blog(written without AI and proof reading :) ) convinces the judges to consider it for the event.

I wish all the participants the best and thank AWS for encouraging innovation and learning.

What's next for AWS Journey by an SAP Developer

Amazon Bedrock is the next space to land and conquer :) I am currently working on CUDA programming with IISC professors. In need for compute to test and learn, I lean on AWS. So, I am on my way to navigate the AWS space searching for opportunities to build, test, learn and hopefully innovate.
