Inspiration

Today many of the internet based companies have to move to cloud infrastructure be it AWS or GCP since it is proving to be more cost effective for the companies to manage the cluster and reduce the go to market time. It has been seen that it takes a while for the companies to get started cloud services and fully understand the nuances of security , costing model and configuration to get up to speed and running the business on cloud.

What it does

We aim to help automate the issues listed above with a friendly VIRTUAL VOICE ASSISTANT AWS ALEXA which comes to the rescue and helps you up and running in an hours. it will help you create VPN , VPC , apply the security policies , spin up on demand clusters be it EMR with add ons or EC2 Clusters into the subnets of choice, scale up and scale down the clusters. It will also help you assess the costing models and guide you towards a cost effective cluster management on AWS.

How we built it

We have leveraged Amazon's ALEXA along with API of AWS , Lambda functions and node.js to design and architect the ALEXA skill.

What's next for AWS DevOps

We aim to further optimize and link each and every of the Amazon Cloud's Services into ALEXA DevOps. Our current focus is for Internet companies needing to spin up large on demand clusters for their huge data movement and processing.
