AWS Chatbot Challenge

Inspiration

I was forgetting to water my beautiful plants and struggling to keep track of how much water I've used so I want an Artificially Intelligent chatbot to remind me to water and keep track of how much water I'm using and saving.

What it does

It asks the user to enter a plant name and how often you want to receive reminders to water. Then when its watering time the bot confirms and asks how much water was used.

How I built it

Using AWS Lex services, Lambda and DynamoDB.

Challenges I ran into

Learning to build a bot for the first time. Finding beta users. Keeping project scope narrow.

Building it out to submit for the next suitable hackathon challenge and push for an aqui-hire.
