We set out as a team to build a horror experience mixing 360° video with animations, effects, and player-driven events powered by Unity. What we found out over our first 24 hours of the hackathon is that our vision would be heavily constrained by the technology currently available.
In the end, what we made were two separate pieces of content - one video and one experience - that highlight both the visual and 3D audio we were originally working towards. While the 360° video project was completed, sadly, our experiential concept didn’t survive the development process.
Hopefully our original concept can be realized sometime in the future, but for now, we hope you enjoy the video experience.
