My Contribution to the Project
I was the primary driver behind Aviato — from concept to execution.
The idea originated from my personal experience struggling to get responses while reaching out for job and opportunity prospects. I translated that frustration into a clear product vision focused on accountability, boundaries, and respect in digital communication.
My contributions include:
Product Ideation & Vision Defined Aviato’s core philosophy: messaging with consequences. Designed the reputation-based system, response timer, and availability modes that differentiate Aviato from traditional messaging apps.
System Design & Logic Conceptualized the user-driven rating system (ghosting, spam, low effort, inappropriate behavior) and how each action impacts approval scores and messaging access.
UX & Feature Planning Designed user flows for starting conversations, rating interactions, managing availability modes, and understanding reputation metrics in a simple, intuitive way.
Research & Problem Validation Analyzed real-world messaging pain points in hiring, creator outreach, and professional networking to ensure the product addressed a genuine, widespread issue.
Iteration & Refinement Continuously refined the pitch, features, and positioning based on clarity, fairness, and scalability — ensuring Aviato remains empowering rather than punitive.
This project represents both my technical and creative leadership, as well as my ability to turn a personal problem into a product with real-world impact.
