There are studies that show that during radiation and chemotherapy treatments, young children can be comforted and calmed enough by videos to avoid the use of anesthetics. This allows them and the hospitals to save time and money. Unfortunately, there are no systems in place to organize and manage this, so time, and therefore money are still wasted trying to set up a video for every visit. We talked to a hospital that estimated 10 minutes saved per operation would result in saving millions of dollars, and we aim to achieve that by streamlining the process of video entertainment during radiation therapy treatments.
