Inspiration
I want to help Women who faces bias and are being discriminated in their respective Careers, Work place etc. to obtain opportunities to that effect.
My mission is to facilitate Diversity in the field of Sex Education, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science etc. by empowering Women and proving an environments for women to easily get Educated and to find opportunities for career development.
In Most Companies, Women usually face bias and discrimination and this issues makes it very difficult for them to stay motivated in the above aforementioned Fields.
My main objective is to provide supports for all these disadvantaged Women by helping them take necessary Steps into the Fields above and industry and provide numerous opportunities and encouragement by showing other Women who have succeeded and overcame those difficulties and letting them know that we are all together in this Gender Equity Campaign.
What it does
Empowers Women is nn interactive rewarding Web Applications that Spreads encouragement to Women through Success, Mutual help, Sex Education, Scholarships and Job Opportunities.
Its a site that allow Users to post and share Motivational Quotes about those Women who have already succeed in their career to help encourage Other Women who are still struggling and letting them know that they can also succeed in their goals. To facilitate this success, the application also allow users to post and share various opportunities ranging from Jobs, Scholarship, Internship, Sex Education etc.
The Site also allow users to Comment on each Post being Shared. Each Members can also get Realtime Notification Update each time a New Post is being Published by other Members.
The Site also has a Reward Points to rewards Users who helped and contributed the most.
How we built it
Developed with PHP, Mysql, Bootstrap, Jquery etc.
