What it does

Buys and sells bitcoin on the SwissQuote exchange to optimize total earnings and beat the market

How we built it

Pythin and Jupyter notebook. Tried LTSM deep learning but finally used a more simple Weighted moving average (exponential and linear), to predict what percentage of our portfolio should be comprised of bitcoin vs cash.

Challenges we ran into

Cleaning data and preparing data for the LTSM Chosing ranges for prediction: seconds, minutes, range?

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Worked like a true team and simple solution for a complex problem

What we learned

That deep learning is not always the best solution and sometimes simple solutions work the best!
