Inspiration
We were inspired by the idea of concerts and the feeling of listening to music with friends. With COVID, everyone is separated and we made AUX as a way to bring people together. Using AUX you can listen to music with your friends as well as explore music.
What it does
Users can either be listeners or DJ's. DJ's play music into a public room via Spotify and Listeners can join rooms to listen to DJ's. Users can also like rooms to increase visibility.
How I built it
Built using React Native and SPOTIFY API
What's next for AUX
Some next steps we plan on taking are implementing a queue and add song feature for the "DJ" so that they do not need to navigate to the Spotify App to play their songs.
