Inspiration

Healthcare reacts too late. Emergencies go unnoticed, families stay uninformed, and wearable data is wasted when it matters most. I wanted a system that doesn’t wait for things to get worse — a system that detects, alerts, and protects in real time. That idea sparked Autryst.

What it does

Autryst is a real-time AI health guardian. It monitors vitals continuously, detects risks early, sends instant emergency alerts, enables AI doctor conversations, and lets families securely share health data through a Base44 access system. It merges wearables, AI, emergency support, and family health into one intelligent platform.

How we built it

We combined wearable APIs, a custom Base44 access engine, GPT-based medical reasoning, ElevenLabs voice, Whisper STT, real-time Firebase, WebRTC live audio, and SMS/email APIs for instant alerts. Everything syncs live and updates in milliseconds with a clean, responsive UI.

Challenges we ran into

Real-time data syncing, instant SOS activation, permission handling, and making the AI doctor speak naturally were major hurdles. Integrating live audio + GPS + AI alerts without breaking workflows was especially tough.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a platform where AI, emergency response, wearables, and family health work together seamlessly — something we’ve never seen before. Our Base44 sharing and instant emergency system feel like the future.

How to design real-time systems that stay reliable, how to merge multiple AI models into one smooth experience, and how important clean UI is for complex health data.
