Buying a car is tough. Knowing which car is reliable and best for you. But on top of all of that, many dealerships try to get as much money as possible by adding hidden terms or extra fees adding one more hurdle to cross when purchasing a vehicle. What we wanted to do was to create a website where all you have to do is upload the contract and get notified of any hidden terms or sketchy practices. We used the Gemini API to generate the scores and describe the issues. A big problem we faced was getting the API to send us the information in a format that we would be able to use. However by creating a very specific prompt, the api was able to give us the responses in a predictable manner.
