Inspiration

In today's fast-paced world, repetitive daily tasks like sorting through job listings, managing bills, and scheduling appointments drain our time and energy. We wanted to build a solution that gives people their time back.

What it does

EchoAgent is an autonomous AI agent built using Strands Agents SDK. It runs quietly in the background to handle repetitive routine tasks, filtering information, and making preparations—only notifying the user when a real decision is required.

How we built it

• Developed using Python and Google Colab for fast prototyping and execution.
• Leveraged Strands Agents SDK to orchestrate the agent's autonomous background workflow.
• Designed with user control in mind: full automation with human-in-the-loop decision making.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing complete background autonomy with secure user oversight, and structuring the agent's logic to handle multi-step tasks efficiently within a tight hackathon timeline.
