Inspiration

The inspiration behind this website was to simply practice creating professional, animated websites that would be able to inform the reader about a certain topic. In this case, we chose autonomous vehicles because it is an up-and-coming topic that should concern anyone on the road and even those who do not drive. It is an amazing concept, and truly questions what computers and artificial intelligence can and cannot do.

What it does

This website's purpose is to inform any viewers about the consequences, benefits, and drawbacks of having autonomous vehicles controlled by AI.

How we built it

We used HTML to form the basis of the page, import photos, videos, and put text in, while organizing these objects on the screen quite nicely. We used CSS in order to style the page, using new fonts and image effects. We used Javascript to create animations, like those on the first page.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The animations on the home page (index.html) were created after we learned and understood how to modify and change javascript animations and link them to HTML pages. We are proud of them. Next, the scrolling effects are really nice, and on top of that, we experimented with HTML functionality.

What's next for Autonomous Vehicle Website

We will continue to work on this website and our goal is to, as high school students, make this website function and feel like one created by professionals, so that we can inform and convey our ideas in meaningful, beautiful ways.
