Most of us are going into university next year and will be living in residence, far from our parents. That means learning how to cook, eat properly, and live independently — skills that aren’t always taught in school. We wanted to create a project that not only solves a personal problem for us, but also empowers other teens and young adults to build confidence in the kitchen. AutonoMeal was born to make independence less intimidating and more fun.
What It Does 🚀 AutonoMeal is a gamified cooking platform that: Lets users choose their skill level (no experience → semi-advanced). Adjusts recipes based on available kitchen tools and ingredients. Provides custom dish recommendations based on cuisine preferences. Uses computer vision + ML to analyze photos of completed meals, scoring quality (e.g., plating, doneness, color balance). Rewards users with progression milestones and achievements, turning cooking into a journey of leveling up independence.
