After a mountain of ideas that we built just to be axed, we finally came to a solution.
What it does
Attempts to crack users' passwords using a list of the world's most popular passwords!
How I built it
Using Selenium, Python, and Flask
Challenges I ran into
We had to learn and build so many different ideas just to figure out that it wouldn't be possible. It was just a long grind.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The final product! (sorry, it's 2:30 am lol)
What I learned
Using different libraries and connecting them for one purpose. Unrelated to this final product, we also learned how to make chrome extensions, how passwords work, etc.
What's next for automatic password list checker
Making it more portable & efficient (literally only works on a custom website lol... cracking passwords takes forever, even with a pre-made list and not brute-forcing)
