Inspiration
In our rapidly evolving technical society, the attendance systems in schools and colleges remain the same. The traditional way of taking attendance seems like a lot of work, this inspired me to build the automatic attendance system Roll Call 360.
What it does
Roll Call 360 captures the image and compares it with the given faces. It then stores the data in a dataset created according to the date and stores it with the current time.
How we built it
It was built using the Python language and face recognition techniques.
What's next for Roll Call 360
Roll Call 360 will soon be a 360-degree webcam that captures people's entry and exits. The work in progress includes a system for registering faces and their connection with the physical world.
