Agricultural water wastage, and water wastage in gardening and home plants.
What it does
Using a relay sensor, a pump can automatically pour water through a tube into the plant. The relay sensor tells the Arduino when to pump in water when the moisture has decreased to a certain level.
How We built it
We used the Relay sensor to send data to the Arduino, and used a pump connected to a power supply module to pour water into the plant.
Challenges I ran into
It was hard to control the pump with a digital pin, and a lot of trial and error had to happen for us to finally control the pump with code.

What's next for Automatic Irrigation System
We want to make this project more user friendly, so adding an iOt would help. With iOt, we can have a beautiful user interface on a phone app that can ask for water type and soil moisture levels.
