The problems that we faced during the malls like standing in queues while billing.With the usage of Li-Fi technology, the billing process takes place automatically.Indoor mapping technology along with IOT can be used to locate the commodities in larger supermarkets.
It consist of a server which operates over the entire mall.The database stores the details of all products starting from its price to offers .VLC (visual light communication) technology is used.High power led replaces the existing lighting technology.It will work on algorithm for high precision IPS using lighting LEDs,VLC and Image sensor.In the algorithm the LED transmits their three dimensional coordinate information which are received and demodulated by two image sensor near the unknown position. Product->PIC16F<-Li-Fi Transmitter Here it is used to store the product ID. Using the product ID, product details are extracted from the server database.The Li-Fi transmitter contains a LED light which is switched on and off quickly to transfer data.The IR detector is used to read the data at the receiver end. Li-Fi transmits the details of the product to the mobile and the trolley. When a product is dropped into the trolley, Li-Fi module automatically reads the product information.The product ID is displayed on the LCD screen.Mobile Shopping Application is created and installed in user mobile. After launching the application, it is connected to the shopping mall server using IP address to retrieve the product information and to send the billing
details.A Li-Fi receiver which is connected through OTG cable to mobile. A Li-Fi receiver contains the IR detector which reads the product ID and transmits it to the mobile.Mobile will send the purchased product information to the server. Then server will transmit it to the gate section. DC Motor which is connected to the microcontroller runs when all the products are billed.When the mismatch happens, buzzer sound will be produced to indicate that there is some unbilled product inside the trolley.Administrator has to login to the shopping mall server to add the product details such as product ID, product name, price and discount.
