Inspiration

The bot was inspired by the manufacturing equipment I am working with daily.

What it does

Using a preset set of recipes, the machine will fill the cup with perfect proportions of drink mixes.

How I built it

Built using a custom PCB, Raspberry Pi zero wifi, peristaltic pumps, raspi display, various 3D printed parts, aluminum extrusion and assorted hardware.

Challenges I ran into

The main challenge I faced was finding tubing the fit my pumps while not leeching plastic taste into the liquids.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The main accomplishment was all the main mechanical 3D printed parts fit well on the first try and the overall model was practically spot on to the actual build.

What I learned

What's next for Automatic Bartender Bot

Optimizing the liquid dispensing, currently it takes around one minute to create a double liquid drink. I would like to optimize the recipes to allow for two liquids to dispense at once.
