What it does

Roves around looking for unsecured wifi networks, connects to it then begins capturing network traffic

How we built it

Broke into 2 main tasks: 1.Get the RC car to autonomously drive 2.Setup an automatic capture of wifi packets

Challenges we ran into

Automating tasks that require root permissions Obstacle avoidance of anything more complex than a wall

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Automated packet gathering and sending the information to a remote location

What we learned

A lot about linux command line and SFTP .
