Inspiration

Man, I hate searching for jobs. It is mentally draining and so annoying to find jobs that are relevant to my career!

What it does

This Alexa "Skill" will proactively search for jobs every day on popular job sites such as LinkedIn, and match jobs relevant to your profile and inform you of them via the voice command "Any new jobs for me

How we built it

Using the Alexa API, and creating a backend server using node.js.

Challenges we ran into

Learning about the nuances of the Alexa API, and bypassing the LinkedIn Oath Authentication system.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have a great idea that we believe could benefit many students and job hunters.

What we learned

Oath protocols are difficult to bypass.
