Inspiration

Our inspiration for this app is the lack of guidance for vehicle owners with regard to scheduling appointments for their cars and during a traffic stop.

What it does

Our app guides users through the car ownership experience, it stores important vehicle registration and user license data so that users no longer have to look through a messy glove box looking for a document that might not even be there. As well as providing important vehicle data all in one place.

How we built it

We built it using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Challenges we ran into

We originally didn't think setting up a backend would be so complicated but with the amount of time we had left and the seeming complexity that kept piling on our plans, having a backend seemed less and less likely. One way we overcame/found a workaround to this is by building the functionality that would have been on our backend, directly into our front end, having a mock-backend in a way, such as persistence and appointment storage.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our app's UI/UX.

What we learned

We learned that being overambitious can be a problem during hackathons. While it can be a good thing in a lot of circumstances, it can cause challenges when you aren't able to complete initial plans.
