In this project, I led the development and implementation of the core system for automated plant health management. My key contributions included:
1. System Design:
I conceptualized and designed the overall system architecture, incorporating various sensors such as soil moisture, temperature, and light sensors. I also integrated control mechanisms for water sprinklers and grow lights.
2. Circuit and Hardware Integration:
I was responsible for wiring and integrating hardware components, including Arduino, sensors, DC motors, LEDs, and a buzzer, ensuring seamless hardware functionality.
3. Programming:
I developed the system software using Arduino C/C++, enabling sensor data processing and automating key functionalities like watering plants, adjusting light levels, and managing temperature.
4. User Interface Design:
I created a user-friendly interface using a 16x2 LCD display to provide live updates on system status, such as soil moisture, temperature, and light levels.
5. Testing and Debugging:
I rigorously tested and debugged the system to ensure accurate sensor calibration and reliable performance across varying environmental conditions.
6. Documentation:
I documented the project comprehensively, including system schematics, source code, and a detailed overview, to facilitate future reference or further development.
