🚀 Inspiration As agency owners and sales operators, we constantly faced one painful reality: most businesses lose money because they don’t follow up fast enough. Leads come in, but between busy schedules and lack of automation, they often go cold — and that’s lost revenue.

We thought, "What if an AI could automatically follow up, overcome objections, and book appointments just like a real SDR — but never sleep?" That idea became AutoCloser AI.

🛠️ How We Built It We built AutoCloser AI in under 36 hours using a fast stack optimized for agent workflows and real-time results:

Bolt.New – To build and orchestrate our entire AI frontend and logic fast

OpenAI GPT-4o – For generating personalized follow-ups and objection-handling replies

LangGraph – To maintain memory and simulate an SDR agent across multiple conversations

Twilio API – For SMS-based lead contact and responses

SendGrid API – To handle outbound and follow-up email

Airtable – For storing leads and logging interactions

Node.js + TypeScript – To glue it all together behind the scenes

Tailwind CSS + Vercel – For clean, fast UI deployment

📚 What We Learned Personalization beats templates: Dynamic prompts and context-aware replies work way better than static sequences.

Speed matters: Even a 10-second delay in follow-up can cost you a conversion.

Memory is critical: Stateful agents make the AI feel real — not robotic.

Don’t overbuild: The most valuable feature is the one that books calls — everything else is noise.

⚠️ Challenges We Faced State management: Building a memory chain across multi-step conversations was tough until we dialed in LangGraph flows.

Deliverability: Avoiding spam filters in real email and SMS workflows meant testing multiple senders, headers, and throttles.

Tone control: Making the AI feel “natural but firm” in sales convos took dozens of prompt tweaks and live feedback loops.
