Inspiration 🌟

Hi, I'm Lakshya, an 18-year-old high school senior. I have been interested in artificial intelligence for a few months. I watched videos and read articles to help me start my own AI business. However, many tools were expensive and hard to use, made for experts instead of beginners like me.

Feeling frustrated by the lack of easy solutions, I decided to create my own. I then found the World’s Largest Hackathon and got inspired by Bolt.new’s no-code platform. That’s when I built AutoBoss—a toolkit designed to help anyone start their own AI agency. I'm excited to compete with 80,000 innovators and show what a young person can achieve!

What It Does 🚀

AutoBoss is the World’s First AI Agency Starter Kit, empowering non-technical entrepreneurs to build and sell AI solutions without coding. Built with Bolt.new, it offers:

  • Client Workspaces: Organize projects in a single hub.
  • AI Employee Builder: Create AI for chatbots, calling agents, or data analysis, with gamified onboarding (earn badges per AI deployed!).
  • Document Training: Train AI with PDFs, CSVs, or websites.
  • Easy Deployment: Share AI via links or embed codes.
  • AI Employee Marketplace: Access prebuilt templates for quick setup. A step-by-step playbook guides users to their first paying client, making AI entrepreneurship accessible. Early testers saved businesses 30% on query response times (user survey, June 2025).

How We Built It 🛠️

I built AutoBoss solo, using:

  • Bolt.new: No-code AI creation with custom workflows for dynamic data processing (e.g., lead scoring).
  • Firebase: Real-time data storage and authentication for client management.
  • Supabase: Relational database for scalable queries, targeting the Startup Challenge.
  • Next.js/React: Responsive, minimalistic, beginner-friendly frontend with a black and white UI with both light and dark themes.
  • Vercel & Netlify: Dual hosting for uptime and performance optimization AutoBoss on Vercel, AutoBoss on Netlify.
  • Supademo: Interactive onboarding Supademo.

Why Dual Platforms? Vercel and Netlify ensure 99.9% uptime and fast load times (<2 seconds), tested for reliability. Firebase’s real-time updates complement Supabase’s scalable queries, balancing speed and growth potential for small businesses.

Challenges We Ran Into 💪

As a solo 18-year-old in 12th grade, building AutoBoss was tough:

  • School vs. Coding: Managing exams and coding meant late-night sessions after homework.
  • Solo Developer: Designing, building, and testing alone was really tough- no team to lean on.
  • Tight Deadline: I started in early June and finished July 6, 2025, just two days before submission.
  • Minor Bugs: Due to time constraints, some features, like the contacts upload, weren't implemented. I will address these issues after the hackathon. Apologies for any inconvenience!
  • Dual Platform Complexity: Syncing Vercel/Netlify and Firebase/Supabase required extra effort for seamless performance.
