Inspiration
I was playing Foosball with a friend at my dorm and we're nerds so the idea happened.
What it does
It controls the opponent to allow single player Foosball
How we built it
We had a plan before the event started allowing time to gather parts. When the event started half of our team started construction of the hardware and half started the software side of the project.
Challenges we ran into
The entire software side was a challenge from start to finish, and the hardware side of things was a challenge in designing to hold everything required.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of most everything involved because of the scale of this project and this being our first experience here working together especially over this time.
What we learned
This is an endless list for all of us. such as learning c++, and opencv, and on the hardware side designing gears and surprisingly tying knots in fishing line.
What's next for Foosberry Pi
We would love to make this fully automatic needing no player interaction and to down scale the components built onto it.
