Inspiration

To expand the scope of automotive biometrics.

What it does

Our project aims to increase the scope of vehicle biometrics by automatically adjusting the vehicles seat, temperature and radio when the driver scans their fingerprint to turn on their car.

How we built it

We used Synaptic's fingerprint scanning hardware to scan the user's fingerprint and compare it with authorized driver profiles stored in the system.

What we learned

We learned about high resolution capacitive sensing and fingerprint recognition algorithms
