Inspiration

I was inspired by visiting my mother, who works for a company that assists in the liquidation of estates. I had noticed that there was a need for the responsible processing of some of the materials and technology found, and decided to utilize my system experience in order to assist in growing this field!

What it does

We are tasked by businesses to safely and securely handle their hardware and digital assets in order to ensure proper handling when releasing the assets.

How we built it

Utilizing bolt tools and Vistaprint business cards!

Challenges we ran into

Gathering partners and clientele within the IT MSP world and the ISD world.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the impact we have been able to have on the customers we have been able to assist.

What we learned

We learned that marketing is hard and that sometimes a well-executed in-person visit can effectively drive traffic while enabling and ensuring a sense of security on first impression.

What's next for Austin Secure E-Waste

To continue to handle more and more E-Waste responsibly as our tech world iterates into the next generation.
