AURUM is a new consumer app idea and product in the Web 3 world to help with cryptocurrency adoption, user onboarding, and connection with communities and merchants. The app is a platform for users to have an easy and seamless experience so they can be mobile and effective with their time, focusing on the human moments that matter in their lives.

A tech-savvy traveler will have efficiency and ease. A journalist will be adaptable to go anywhere without worrying about monetary exchanges. A missionary, outreach, or disaster relief worker can be instantly mobilized to impact any community without worrying about transactions along the way. All of these users will build their ecosystems and economies through cryptocurrency adoption by both travelers and merchants. AURUM is for everyone; everywhere; in any moment, enabling people and worlds to connect.

Our goal is to launch AURUM as a consumer app in App stores and onboard millions of users from their mobile phones to use cryptocurrency (and OMI!) and join the ecosystem. Merchants can also be onboarded with AURUM... it's a win-win!

As a starting point, we have created an initial use case to start the AURUM journey. We plan to finish the MVP and build a beta app for Q1 2025 launch to gather user feedback and improve any user experience/SW details needed before a full launch to the App stores.

Our monetization strategy includes a transaction fee and subscription fee which include a loyalty program that makes AURUM a long-term and lasting community for travelers.

FIRST ADOPTER USE CASE: Imagine you are a tech-savvy digital nomad, journalist or missionary traveling to any country in the world, from any country in the world.

You land in Buenos Aires, stopping at a coffee shop on the way to a conference. The Barista prepares your coffee, it’s 10 DLLR and you want to pay with cryptocurrency. You tell your [OMI] to prepare a transaction hands-free, with your voice.

  1. “Hey [OMI], please prepare a transaction for 10 DLLR. ”
  2. Your phone buzzes with a notification…
  3. Notification: AURUM is preparing transaction. Confirm now?
  4. You tap to confirm.
  5. You shared your location when you set up your account, so AURUM has a transaction ready for 10 DLLR and shows you it’s $9.90 USD for reference to your local currency. You also see your available cryptocurrency options. You decide to use USDC.
  6. AURUM follows secure protocol so it asks you to Approve the transaction. You review and tap Approve.
  7. ...and just like that… the Transaction is Complete! You just paid the coffee shop with crypto and the Barista received their local currency (Thai Baht) at the Point-of-Sale (POS)! You leave with your latte and both people received what they needed.

With AURUM, TRAVELERS can pay with crypto and the MERCHANT can receive the local currency of their choice. All on-chain, on-demand, in real time, IRL! Welcome to seamless international payments at your fingertips… all with your voice! All you have to do is confirm the crypto you want to cash out and approve the transaction.
