The starting point of Aureli Prats was a very clear intention: to make both the singer, Fiona Mont, and the character at the center of the story, Aureli Prats, feel believable.

This was the core challenge of the project.

Aureli is an extreme character—lonely, socially awkward, and emotionally exposed—hovering at times on the edge of humor or even parody. The real risk was that he could easily become a caricature. The goal, however, was the opposite: to ground him in reality, to give him a human weight that could generate tenderness rather than irony. Making the audience recognize something real in him was essential.

At the same time, Fiona Mont had to feel equally authentic—not as a distant narrator, but as a presence emotionally connected to the story she sings. The project is built on this fragile balance between two fictional identities that mirror and complete each other.

The process was meticulous and highly intentional. A great deal of work went into the lyrics and the melody, refining tone, rhythm, and emotional restraint to avoid exaggeration. Every creative decision was guided by the same question: does this still feel human?

Thanks to tools such as Nano Banana Pro, Seedance, Wan 2.6, Kling 2.5, and Suno, it became possible to translate this sensitivity into a complete audiovisual piece. Technology was not the goal, but the means—used carefully to serve narrative, emotion, and coherence.

What I learned through this project is that credibility does not come from realism alone, but from emotional precision. Even the most extreme characters can feel real if they are treated with respect, patience, and attention to detail.

Aureli Prats ultimately became a reflection on loneliness, vulnerability, and hope—told through small gestures, quiet moments, and a conscious refusal of excess.
