Aura Mirror was motivated by the intersection of emotional intelligence, self-care trends, and smart technology. It addresses the growing demand for AI that understands emotions, promotes mental well-being, and integrates into a personalised lifestyle. Aura, inspired by aesthetic wellness culture, emotional AI, and the desire for feminine-friendly technology, blends mood detection, self-care regimens, and style recommendations into a single connected ecosystem. The addition of an AI "BS Detector" reflects the growing worry about internet misinformation, providing both emotional support and digital awareness.
What it does
Aura is a smart mirror and mobile ecosystem that combines AI and emotional intelligence to provide personalised support for mood, self-care, and daily life. It's girly, functional, and entertaining, a trendy, tech-savvy bestie that understands your emotions and helps you feel better.
How we built it
We used Python and web development.
Challenges we ran into
We had some inactive team members and ran into some technical and non-technical challenges. For example, we ran into difficulties with the code and some of the tools we were using.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
However, we are proud of the outcome. As we got a decent amount done for the little time we had for our project and its many themes.
