Inspiration

Every GenZ freelancer hits the same wall before starting a project — weeks of manual market research, chaotic file management, and weak client pitches. Big agencies have entire teams for this. Solo freelancers don't. That gap inspired AuraFlow AI.

What We Built

AuraFlow AI is a Universal Strategic Engine that compresses 2 weeks of strategy work into one AI-powered session. It performs real-time market research via Tavily Search API, auto-segregates uploaded project files into Requirements, Ideas, Layouts, and Deadlines, generates sequential project plans, builds client pitch decks, tracks progress with AI feedback, and manages multiple projects simultaneously — all in one Cyan/Black desktop and web app.

How We Built It

We used Python FastAPI as the backend, React + Electron.js for the frontend, Groq Llama 3.3-70B as the AI model, and Tavily Search API for live web research. The backend is deployed on Render.com and the frontend on Vercel at www.auraflowsystem.com.

What We Learned

Prompt engineering, token limit management, CORS configuration between Electron and FastAPI, and production deployment on Render taught us how to build real-world AI applications — not just demos.

Challenges We Faced

Rate limits forced us to switch from Gemini to Groq. Token overflow in deep research mode required input trimming. GitHub push protection blocked our API keys. Render's dynamic port requirement broke our first deployment. Each challenge made the final product stronger.

What's next for AuraFlow AI

AuraFlow AI is just getting started. Our next milestones include launching native iOS and Android apps via React Native, adding offline mode with local LLM support via Ollama for privacy-conscious freelancers, and integrating with Slack, Notion, Trello, and WhatsApp for seamless reminders. We plan to introduce team collaboration features so multiple freelancers can work on shared projects, add PPTX and Notion export for pitch decks and project plans, and expand the Soul Search engine to support industry-specific deep dives. Long term, AuraFlow AI will evolve into a full freelancer operating system — the one platform every GenZ creator needs to research, plan, pitch, and deliver winning projects by 2030.
