In a world of productivity tools and chatbots, I wanted to build something that makes people feel something. I noticed that people crave personalized, meaningful digital experiences — not just another app, but something that reflects who they are.
Aura was born from a simple question: What if AI could see your soul and paint it?
I wanted to create an experience where every person gets something completely unique — a living, animated visual identity generated from their innermost thoughts and feelings. No two auras would ever be the same.
What it does
Aura asks you 7 carefully crafted questions about your life — your happiest memory, your deepest fear, what makes you feel alive, your favorite sound. Based on your answers, AI analyzes the emotional patterns and generates a unique digital aura — a beautiful, animated visual portrait of your inner self.
Each aura features:
- 🎨 A unique color palette based on your emotional profile
- ✨ Animated flowing patterns that represent your personality traits
- 📝 An AI-generated poetic description of your aura's meaning
- 📤 One-click sharing so you can show the world your digital soul
How I built it
I built Aura entirely on MeDo using natural language — no traditional coding required. I described each feature conversationally, and MeDo generated the full-stack application.
The process:
- Designed the question flow and emotional mapping system
- Built the UI with a dark, immersive theme using MeDo's visual editor
- Integrated AI-powered analysis to interpret answers into visual parameters
- Created the animated aura visualization engine
- Added sharing functionality and mobile responsiveness
Challenges I faced
- Translating abstract emotions into concrete visual parameters
- Making every generated aura feel truly unique and personal
- Balancing visual complexity with performance on mobile devices
- Crafting questions that feel deep without being intrusive
What I learned
- MeDo can build genuinely creative, experience-driven applications — not just CRUD tools
