Inspiration: Duolingo was a great inspiration for the gamefication of the app, the idea is to reward the user who decides to live with the control of time in your hands.

What it does

The user sets the apps that most spend it's time and would like to use this less, and he will earn or lose points, lives, and sequence of days depending on how it's his progress.

How we built it

We decided to go Android first because one of the main appeal is to have the character enter on user screen at any time (apple doesn't allow that) so we decided go with flutter and godot.

Challenges we ran into

The feautes are not complicated in terms of production complexity, so I think is the amount of assets vs the time we have, since both of us is not full time on the project, we have to create and implement everything like, modeling, animations, assets, achievements and etc! We are not using AI for art or 3D, the user can get the most polished art possible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I think to implement Godot into the flutter and can have control about the 3D in real time was a big thing.

What we learned

To start from big to small, I always run into creating good art and look before without testing, and when I found some limitations I just gave up from other projects, this time I decided to go super simple with assets, test, and implement festures before opening photoshop.

What's next for Eggy World

The idea is always to add more content and features, so the user will be able to customize more, to give him more personality and have the character as his real helper and friend.
