Inspiration
In today’s fast-paced environment, individuals and teams struggle not because of a lack of tools, but because of a lack of clarity. People spend significant time deciding what to do next, while managers assign tasks based on intuition rather than data. This creates inefficiencies, delays, and cognitive overload what we call the planning gap.
Aura AI was inspired by the need to eliminate this gap by creating a system that doesn’t just manage tasks but intelligently decides and optimizes them.
What it does
Aura AI is a hybrid intelligence productivity system that combines AI with algorithmic decision-making to optimize both individual and team workflows.
It provides:
AI Daily Planner → Automatically structures an 8-hour workday using priority, deadlines, and time estimation Smart Task Assignment → Recommends the best team members using multi-metric scoring AI Toolkit → Includes summarization, prioritization, and contextual assistance Productivity Intelligence Dashboard → Visualizes performance, efficiency, and trends

How we built it
Aura AI is built using a modern full-stack architecture:
Frontend: Next.js 15 with Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI Backend: Firebase Firestore (real-time database) and Firebase Auth AI Integration: Google Gemini via Genkit Algorithms: Custom heuristic-based systems for planning and assignment Visualization: Recharts for analytics and insights
