Inspiration
Attendance tracking in schools and colleges is often manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors. We wanted to build a smart solution that not only automates attendance using AI but also keeps parents informed in real-time. The idea was to combine automation with communication to improve accountability and transparency.
What it does
This AI-based attendance system automatically marks attendance and tracks student presence. If a student is absent, the system instantly sends an email notification to their parents. It ensures real-time monitoring and reduces the need for manual attendance tracking.
How we built it
We built the system using web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend support (PHP). AI logic is used for attendance tracking, and email APIs are integrated to send notifications to parents. The system processes attendance data and triggers automated alerts when a student is absent.
